Diesel Connect is hosted on the Bettermode platform and provides a place for repair professionals and industry participants to share knowledge, collaborate, and engage with others in the commercial and heavy-duty repair space.
By accessing or using Diesel Connect (the “Community”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). Please read them carefully.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Community.
1. Community Expectations & Guidelines
Diesel Connect is intended to be a helpful, supportive, and professional environment. All users must follow our Community Guidelines available at:

By participating, you agree to:
Treat others with respect and professionalism
Contribute constructively
Avoid harassment, discriminatory behavior, or misconduct
Follow posting rules and topic guidelines
Protect confidential, proprietary, and personal data
Use the Community for legitimate purposes only
Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or removal from the Community.
2. Eligibility
To use Diesel Connect, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Create an account directly through Bettermode
Agree to these Terms and all linked policies
Diesel Connect is open to industry professionals broadly, though anyone may register. Fullbay may limit or revoke access at any time.
You agree to use the Community in your individual capacity, unless you are explicitly authorized by your employer to act on their behalf.
3. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date
Fullbay is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or abusive content
Share proprietary or confidential information (including customer data, shop data, OEM manuals, or copyrighted materials) without authorization
Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of the Community
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Sell, advertise, or promote services or products unless you have explicit permission from Fullbay
Use the Community in a way that violates any applicable laws
Fullbay may remove content or restrict access to the Community at its discretion.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 You Retain Ownership
You own the content you submit or post in the Community (“User Content”).
5.2 License to Fullbay
By posting User Content, you grant Fullbay a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and create derivative works from your User Content for purposes of operating, improving, marketing, or promoting the Community.
5.3 Private Groups
Content posted within private or restricted groups will not be shared publicly by Fullbay without your additional consent, except as needed for:
Operating the platform
Moderation
Legal compliance
5.4 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:
You own or have permission to post it
It does not violate the rights of others
It complies with these Terms
Fullbay does not endorse or verify user submissions.
6. Moderation & Enforcement
Fullbay may, at its discretion and without prior notice:
Monitor the Community
Remove or edit content
Suspend or terminate accounts
Restrict access to specific features or areas
We may take these actions for any violation of these Terms or community guidelines, or for any behavior we believe undermines the Community. There is no formal appeal process for moderation decisions.
7. Third-Party Platforms & Linked Policies
Diesel Connect is hosted using Bettermode. By using the Community, you acknowledge Bettermode’s role as our platform provider and agree to their applicable legal documents, including:

Your use of the Community also incorporates Fullbay’s:

If there is a conflict between these linked policies and these Terms, these Terms govern your use of the Community.
8. Privacy & Data Use
Fullbay is the controller of personal data collected through the Community. Bettermode processes data on our behalf in accordance with its Data Processing Agreement.
We may collect and analyze:
Profile information you provide
Posts, comments, and discussions
Engagement, usage, and behavioral analytics
Data is handled in accordance with Fullbay’s and Bettermode’s privacy documents.

9. Copyright & DMCA
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used unlawfully within the Community, notify our designated copyright agent:

Provide all required information under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), including sufficient detail for us to locate the material. We may remove content and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
10. Disclaimers
The Community is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Fullbay does not guarantee that:
User-submitted content is accurate, complete, or reliable
The Community will be uninterrupted or error-free
Advice shared by users will achieve specific results
Your use of the Community is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fullbay disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fullbay will not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities
Any actions, omissions, or content of other users
Fullbay’s total liability to you for all claims relating to the Community will not exceed $100 or the amount you paid to use the Community (if any), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; if so, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time.
Upon deletion:
Your account information will be removed or anonymized
Your posted content may remain visible (such as threads or comments), but will no longer be attributed to you
Fullbay may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for conduct harmful to the Community.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Continuing to use the Community after updates become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
